You’ve started with a couple of drops 3 times a day. If you’re not noticing much difference in your daily life and you’ve not experience any adverse effects, it’s time to up your dose!
Again, it’s a good idea to do this gradually
for two reasons: so you don’t take too much for your needs, and so you can pinpoint the exact dose that works for you.
If appropriate for you, add a couple of drops to each daily dose each week. Continue this process until you notice positive change and higher doses either feel too much or seem to make no difference. As mentioned, studied doses are extremely high, so don’t worry about building it up if the lower dose isn’t working for you.
Once you’ve figured out how to take CBD oil and found an amount that works for you, you may want to calculate out what your dose is. Here’s the sum you need to figure out the amount you’re taking per drop (if not listed on the label):
- Mg ÷ ml = CBD per 1ml dropper
- Divide the total by the number of drops in the 1ml dropper (usually 20 although check with the supplier)
